DegenCity restricted countries: where can’t you play?
Terms §3.4DegenCity blocks 37 territories (Terms §3.4). Its Anjouan license excludes one more the Terms leave out, and neither document lists game-provider blocks.
DegenCity’s restricted list and the Anjouan license
The license adds Comoros, the union the licensing island belongs to. Six of the license’s seven named exclusions are on DegenCity’s list, and Comoros is the seventh.
- Terms §3.4 (Jurisdiction): 37 territories. Six small European jurisdictions most lists skip are each named: Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.
- Anjouan license: 7 exclusions. Australia, Comoros, France, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom and USA, plus all FATF-blacklisted countries, all sanctioned jurisdictions, and any territory deemed excluded by the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority.
- Game-provider blocks: None published. The capture carries 45 provider codes, and DegenCity publishes no studio-level block list, so a market the Terms allow can still lose part of the catalog.
Comoros missing from DegenCity’s list matters. An offshore licensee generally can’t serve the market that licensed it, so treat this license as an export permit, not home consumer protection. The license also excludes every FATF-blacklisted and sanctioned jurisdiction, which the Terms don’t list, so the real excluded map is wider than the Terms print. It is DegenCity’s list, not legal advice, and a country missing from it isn’t automatically allowed.

Register checked3-102-939867 Limitada, a Costa Rican limited liability company, runs DegenCity under Anjouan license ALSI-202601025-FI1. The Anjouan public register and the license validator, both checked on Oct 4, 2026, match DegenCity’s own footer and Terms on every field.
This gaming platform operates under License No. ALSI-202601025-FI1, issued by the Offshore Finance Authority of the State of Anjouan pursuant to the Computer Gaming Licensing Act 007 of 2005.
The register prints a shorter form of the registered address than the Terms, which carry it with typos (“House Humber Hour Hundred”, “CeibaStreet”).

DegenCity KYC: when does DegenCity ask for ID?
Documents disagreeDegenCity can ask for ID at registration or any time after. Its two document sets disagree on whether you need KYC before your first withdrawal.
Do you need KYC to withdraw from DegenCity?
Yes by the Terms, and no by the help center. Both documents were live on the same day, and this is the disagreement you hit at your first payout.
- Help center: “In general, you can deposit, play, and withdraw without completing KYC verification.” Verification is presented as optional.
- Terms §5(b): A precondition of withdrawal. “Required KYC has been successfully completed. Please note that delays in providing documents may result in withdrawal processing being paused until verification is finalised.”
The help center’s own withdrawal article asks for a verified email, not KYC, which backs the help center reading.
Can you have more than one DegenCity account?
No by the Terms, yes by the FAQ. Terms §2.3 allows one active account and treats any more as a breach. The FAQ says “Degencity users are allowed to have multiple accounts, as long as there is no suspicious activity.” A breach can cost you the account and its bonuses, so go by the Terms.
DegenCity KYC documents
Level 2 asks for a passport, national ID card (front and back) or driver’s license (front and back). The Terms ask for a different set: a government-issued ID, proof of address (a utility bill or bank statement) and payment-method details, plus identity, age, address and source of funds (Terms §2.2).
What the DegenCity feed shows about accounts
The feed says nothing about KYC. 2,258 account keys appear in the capture, and 325 of them (14.39%) showed up at least once in the source’s hidden mode. Those keys are protected everywhere and appear only inside totals. A key seen even once in hidden mode stays protected across the whole snapshot, and no raw name or source ID is published.

DegenCity withdrawals: what has to happen before you cash out?

DegenCity 1x deposit wagering
Terms §4.1 says so plainly, and the help center repeats it. It covers all deposits, sports bets included, not just promotional ones.
Wager the value of your deposit at the time it is credited at least once before requesting a withdrawal. A withdrawal requested before the deposit is fully wagered may be delayed or denied until it is.

No game weighting table is published, so no DegenCity page tells you whether a live-dealer hand and a slot spin clear the requirement at the same rate.
DegenCity’s Steam refund policy
The Refund Policy is written around Steam skin trading (“Virtual Game Units from Steam”, “Degencity’s bots process Steam trades almost immediately”). The Terms, dated the same day, disclaim any link to Valve or Steam and describe only fiat and crypto deposits. No Steam deposit rail appears in the help center or the cashier docs.

Start small and test a withdrawal early. Check the fee and the minimum on the withdrawal screen before you confirm, because DegenCity publishes neither as a number.

The feed shows 9 crypto balance rails, and LTC has the most events at 30.83%. Each rail is a crypto balance whose bet and win figures arrive in dollars. The separate currency field is a display setting, and the feed has no native coin amounts.
A rail is the balance a bet was charged against in the game session, not a deposit method or withdrawal option. DegenCity’s cashier lists 6 depositable coins, which is a different list.

“With a wager” is the share of a rail’s settlements that showed the bet behind them. It runs from 51.87% to 88.00% across the rails, so no single ratio from this feed can stand in for the casino. One smaller rail is left out.
DegenCity ranks, rakeback, VIP and bonuses: what is a rank worth?
No rakeback rate publishedDegenCity publishes no rakeback percentage at any rank. It does publish XP thresholds for the top four rank families and the full reward schedule. The feed stamps a rank on every settlement, 23 labels from Unranked up, and 5 account keys at the top of the ladder placed 27.06% of every visible wager.
DegenCity VIP ranks and XP
The help center gives XP bands for the top four families and nothing for Unranked, Chiplet, Ante, Shuffler and Dealer. It never says what earns an XP.
Each published family covers three numbered sub-tiers in the feed (Hustler I–III, Card Shark I–III, Pitboss I–III, Ace I–III), with one XP band per family. With five families unpublished, more than half the observed ladder has no stated requirement.
DegenCity bonus: a 7-day cashback
DegenCity’s one live promotion is a 7-day 10% cashback. If your first seven days after registering end in a net loss on slots, it credits 10% of that loss automatically, with no code. You need at least one deposit, only slot spins count, live casino, game shows and bonus buys are left out, and a spin counts for at most $5. The offer states no WR on the credit.
How to claim DegenCity weekly and monthly rewards
At release time, a claim link goes out on DegenCity’s social channels, such as Telegram, and opens the reward pop-up on the site. Before release, the button reads “Join Telegram to claim”. After release, it reads “Available”.
DegenCity says you don’t need a Telegram account and the link works in any browser. But the link is only posted in its social channels, so you have to find it there.
DegenCity rank labels in the feed
The feed shows 23 rank labels, from Unranked to Ace III, and 1 with no captured activity. This is the order the generator recorded from the feed, not a tier table from a DegenCity page. It may be incomplete, and it says nothing about what any rung requires or pays.

The 5 account keys at the top three active ranks placed 27.06% of every wager the feed could see. The tier counts up to the three highest ranks with observed wagers, and empty labels aren’t merged in.
Stake goes to the rank a wager showed when first seen. A republished wager can show a newer rank, so it may not be the rank at the moment of the bet.

DegenCity games: what gets played?
From the bet feedThe feed logged 1,705 titles from 45 provider codes in one week, and 555 of them paid out without ever showing a wager. That is one week of play, not a catalog, and no proof that any title is available where you are.
Why DegenCity payouts show no wager
Whether a payout shows its wager works almost like a provider setting. 87.82% of pgp plays showed one, against 1.60% of orgam plays. Some integrations publish the bet with the settlement, and some publish only the settlement.
That is the clearest explanation for the incomplete stake in this feed. orgam alone carries 11.27% of captured events and 11.45% of payout while showing a wager on 1.60% of its plays.
Who makes DegenCity Originals
Origami Games does. The orgam code is DegenCity’s Originals lobby, and opening one of those games loads Hub88’s launcher, which hands it to Origami’s game host in a DegenCity theme. The game pages credit the studio as “Degencity”, so the Originals are a branded supplier product, not games DegenCity built.
DegenCity titles with enough data
Only 57 titles carry enough visible wagers to compute anything. A title qualifies with at least 250 unique wagers and $5,000 of visible stake. What it carries is a linked-play diagnostic, not a game’s RTP.
Of the 57 qualifying titles, 2 land below break-even (the lowest, Wisdom of Athena 1000, returns 95.62%). The other 55 all return more than the stake they revealed. That is the 183.31% headline effect, title by title. A play group counts all its captured payouts but only the stake it revealed. A list where 55 of 57 entries beat the house is measuring how much stake is visible, so reading the top row as “the loosest game on the site” would get the number backward.

No DegenCity page explains deposit limits, but Terms §10 bans “Attempting to bypass self-exclusion, deposit limits, or other responsible gambling tools”. So the Terms treat deposit limits as real, while no page says how to set one, for how long, or how fast it can be lifted.

DegenCity complaints: what can you do if something goes wrong?
License condition unmetEmail support first. After that, the only route is a Costa Rican court, with nothing in between. DegenCity’s Anjouan license requires access to an ADR service, and no DegenCity document names one.

The site’s own code declares a route for a complaints policy that was never published.
Who settles a disputed DegenCity bet
DegenCity does. A game that malfunctions lets it “cancel and revert affected bets, rounds, and winnings” (Terms §9), and its sportsbook team investigates sports disputes and can hold a withdrawal for up to 31 days while it does. The Terms carry no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.
A privacy contact on another domain
DegenCity’s privacy policy names support@bethype.com as its contact for privacy questions, while its own §9 sends data requests to support@degencity.com. Use the DegenCity address.
The Anjouan complaint route
Anjouan says you complain to the operator first, “via the operator’s license validator page”. The operator then has 30 days to resolve it. After that, you can go to an approved ADR provider at the operator’s cost. DegenCity’s validator page lists support@degencity.com and carries the regulator’s “Submit a Complaint” form, for license breaches. Payout and account disputes go to DegenCity first. What public DegenCity bet data did we analyze?
We analyzed 719,520 settlements from 168 hours of DegenCity’s public feed, and 217,925 of them carry the wager behind them. That is enough to describe the feed precisely, but not enough for a feed-wide ratio.
What the DegenCity feed publishes
719,520 settlements paid $14,149,588, and only 30.29% show the wager behind them. DegenCity publishes settlements, not bets. Each row is a source “win” message (the name of the message type, not a result), and the wager sits inside some messages and not others.
So payout is known for the whole tape, and stake only where a wager shows. We never divide one by the other.
DegenCity settlements with no wager
42.01% of settlements have no wager anywhere in their play group, and they carry 60.12% of every dollar paid. Every row lands in exactly one of the three layers in the table, and rows and payouts are checked to add back up to the capture. The third row is the size of the hole, $8.5M of payout whose stake nobody outside DegenCity can see.
Why the DegenCity ratio tops 100%
Where a wager shows, payout comes to 183.31% of it. That is not a game’s RTP, and DegenCity doesn’t pay 183%, because the visible tape is selected. No casino survives returning more than it takes.
These plays were credited with payouts whose wagers never appeared. 199,323 of the 417,248 settlements inside them came with no bet attached. Nothing in the payload says whether they were stake-free continuations or separate plays whose wagers the feed didn’t show. There is no free-spin flag to settle it, so we don’t assume the generous reading.
Either way the stake is short, so don’t read 183.31% as a return to players.
- Diagnostic one · the narrow view: 13.61%. Payout on the 217,925 settlements that carried their own wager, over $3.1M of deduplicated stake. It looks terrible for players and is just as wrong, because it drops every continuation payout from the same play.
- Diagnostic two · the wide view: 183.31%. The same stake, with every captured settlement in those 209,522 play groups counted ($5.6M). It looks impossible for the house, and it is, because play groups that never showed a wager are left out of the stake entirely.
How the biggest plays move the DegenCity ratio
Take out the 1,000 biggest linked plays (0.48%) and 183.31% becomes 130.44%, still above break-even. Each cut removes whole play groups, stake and every payout, and recomputes. If a few jackpots explained the ratio, it would drop below 100% here. It doesn’t, which points to missing stake rather than a fat tail.
This is a stress test, not a corrected figure, because the removed plays happened.

Settlements and payout by linkage layer
53.17% of all play groups (259,221) are a single settlement row, and only 5,525 of those rows carry a wager. Together they hold 58.98% of captured payout. A settlement with no wager isn’t a zero-stake bet, a free spin or a bonus round. The payload has no free-spin flag, so the stake behind it just isn’t published.

Who is DegenCity best for, and who should skip it?
- Crypto players in a supported country. The help center says payouts arrive within an hour, and the withdrawal fee shows before you confirm. Each deposit needs just one playthrough (Terms §4.1).
- High rollers switching casinos. Email a screen recording of your tier and total wagered, and DegenCity reviews the VIP transfer within 48 hours and picks the matching tier. VIP host eligibility starts at Card Shark.
- Players who want a big catalog. 1,705 titles showed up in one week of the public feed.
- You want to cash out without KYC. The help center says you can, but Terms §5(b) makes completed KYC a condition of withdrawing.
- You live in one of the 37 blocked territories. The US, the UK, Australia, France, Spain and the Netherlands are on the list, and the license adds Comoros.
- You want deposit limits. Self-exclusion is the only documented tool, and two DegenCity pages describe it differently.
- You want a dispute route past the casino. Support comes first, then the courts of Costa Rica. No ADR body is named, though the Anjouan license requires one.
- You want to know what rakeback pays. No rakeback percentage is published at any rank, and nothing says what earns XP.

When a review covers a casino’s rules, Alex reads its terms, help center and license record first. Every document behind a claim is linked, and a review built from the bet feed alone says so. The numbers come from the captured feeds. The casino rules come from the casino’s own documents, dated the day they were read.
- Documents re-read, and the privacy policy, the sportsbook rules and the Originals game frames read for the first time. DegenCity now runs one promotion, a 7-day 10% cashback on net slot losses. Its FAQ allows multiple accounts while Terms §2.3 forbids them, a seventh contradiction. The Originals are Origami Games titles served through Hub88, and the privacy policy names a contact on another brand’s domain. Another 30 questions we hadn’t checked are now answered from the Terms, the privacy policy and the help center.
- Data refreshed: every feed figure now recomputes from the Sep 16 to Sep 23, 2026 capture, 719,520 public settlement events over 168 hours, 42.01% of them with no wager shown. Operator chapters as read on Sep 9, 2026.
- Operator chapters added: restricted markets, operator and license, KYC, ranks and rewards, and responsible play. The cashier and complaints stay open, because reading can’t close them. One needs money moved, the other a complaint filed. The Anjouan license checks out in the regulator’s public register, and two DegenCity documents disagree in six places.
- First published, bet data only: a 168-hour capture of 495,422 public DegenCity settlement events, split into three money bases (captured payout, deduplicated parent stake and the linked play groups that join them), with no feed-wide ratio, because 49.11% of the tape showed no wager. A license record shows that the licensing relationship was on the regulator’s own record on the day we checked. It says nothing about a casino’s reserves, whether a withdrawal gets paid, how a dispute would end or whether playing is lawful where you live.
We haven’t contacted any regulator or filed a complaint. Every value is the record as it stood on the day we checked, linked so you can check it yourself. Registers and footers can change without notice.
On Oct 4, 2026, the same register marked the status field “valid” for all 1,539 rows it published, including 344 whose expiry dates had already passed. The field is uniform, so it carries no information about this or any individual license.
The Authority’s own status definitions page recognizes four statuses (Active, Suspended, Revoked and Expired) and states that “Only entities with an Active licence status are authorised to conduct licensed internet gaming activities.” “Valid”, the word the register actually prints, is not one of the four.

DegenCity complaints: the Terms stop at support, with no deadline and no second step
Terms §17 says to email support@degencity.com and try to settle the matter informally. No response time, escalation step or dispute body follows. The Anjouan license requires an independent ADR service, and the regulator sends complaints through the operator’s license validator page. DegenCity’s page lists support@degencity.com and carries the regulator’s complaint form for license breaches. Self-exclusion has no published periods, and two DegenCity pages disagree on how you request it.

Anjouan Licensing Services Inc.’s “Submit a Complaint” form takes complaints that an operator is breaching its license. Payout, blocked-account, delay and broken-feature disputes go to the operator first. The form asks for your name, email, phone, address, country, date of birth, the operator URL, the disputed amount, the games played, the dispute details and the date and time of play, plus screenshots and chats, photo ID, proof of address and proof of source of funds.

Which law and courts govern DegenCity’s terms?

The license is Anjouan, but the governing law and the only named forum are Costa Rican. No arbitration clause appears in the Terms.

A complaints policy with a route and no page
DegenCity’s application declares a route named playerComplaintsPolicy at /player-complaints-policy. No page component for it exists in any of the site’s 47 published JavaScript chunks, no navigation link points to it, and the path returns the application shell rather than a document. A complaints policy is routed for and not published.
Anjouan’s self-exclusion form on DegenCity’s seal page
DegenCity’s Anjouan validator page carries a self-exclusion request form with a 2-day or 1-week cool-off, or 1, 2, 3 or 6 months, 1 year or permanent. The regulator says the list goes only to operators on the Anjouan Gaming platform.
