Responsible gambling: self-exclusion and limits at 24 crypto casinos, plus free help

Self-exclusion and limits as each crypto casino we research publishes them, plus blocking tools, warning signs and free, confidential help.

By Alex SavelleUpdated How we rate

Only play with money you can afford to lose. Set the amount before you start, and stop when it’s gone or when it stops being fun.

Problem gambling warning signs

  • You chase losses, playing again to win back what you lost.
  • You play longer or bet bigger than you planned, or raise your stakes to get the same buzz.
  • You borrow, sell things or use bill money to gamble.
  • You hide your gambling from the people close to you, or get restless and irritable when you try to stop.
  • Gambling feels like something you have to do, not entertainment.

If one of these sounds familiar, take a break now and talk to someone. The services below are free and confidential.

Gambling limits: set them before you play

If your casino offers deposit, loss or wager limits, a time-out or account closure, set them while you’re calm, not mid-session. See what each casino we research publishes.

Limits matter more with crypto. Deposits land in minutes, and balances show in coins instead of your own currency. Keep a separate wallet for gambling and move only what you’ve decided to spend.

Block gambling sites on your devices

Blocking software stops gambling sites from opening on your phone and computer. It also blocks the crypto casinos a self-exclusion at one casino doesn’t cover. BetBlocker is free, and Gamban is paid. Many banks also let you block card payments to gambling merchants.

Self-exclusion at one casino doesn’t carry over to another. To stop everywhere, pair it with a blocking tool and your bank’s gambling block. More comparisons
